A behavioral health dashboard for a spectrum of stakeholders
Optum used the state's enterprise data warehouse (EDW) to create reports showing:
- How behavioral services function
- The characteristics of those who receive services
- How much is spent on services based on location
- Network adequacy and health equity measures
The reports showed data from the perspective of behavioral health service trends and members receiving behavioral health services. This provided insightful, usable information to a variety of audiences, including:
- Analysts
- Department overseeing medical assistance
- State legislature
- Behavioral health service providers
